Privacy Statement
Last updated: 2026-03-18
1. Your Rights
Depending on your residency, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, and to object to certain processing activities. In Korea, the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) provides rights including access and correction requests, suspension of processing in defined cases, and remedies through administrative agencies. We respond to verifiable requests within a reasonable period, typically within thirty days unless complexity requires extension, in which case we will notify you. You may lodge a complaint with the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) or other competent supervisory bodies where applicable. Exercising rights does not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal where processing was based on legitimate grounds.
2. Scope and Controller
This Privacy Statement describes how SprintMesh Academy collects, uses, stores, and shares personal data in connection with the mesh-hub.one website, marketing communications, and educational services. The data controller responsible for processing is SprintMesh Academy, with contact at team@mesh-hub.one. This Statement does not apply to third-party websites linked from our pages; their policies govern their processing. If you participate in employer-sponsored programs, your organization may also act as an independent controller for employee data it supplies to us, and you should review your employer’s notices as well.
3. Use of Data
We use personal data to deliver programs, manage registrations, communicate schedules, provide customer support, improve instructional quality through aggregated analytics, maintain security logs, and comply with legal obligations. Marketing communications are sent only where permitted by law and, where required, based on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior sends. We do not sell personal data as a business model. Automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated means is not used in a manner that would deny you services without human review.
4. Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described, including statutory retention periods for tax, accounting, and consumer records under Korean law. Course records and communications may be retained for several years to handle disputes, honor refund inquiries, and demonstrate instructional delivery where contracts require evidence. Technical logs may be retained for shorter security cycles. When retention periods expire, we delete or anonymize data where feasible. Backups may persist for a limited additional period before overwrite cycles complete.
5. Third Parties
We engage service providers for hosting, email delivery, analytics where consented, customer support tooling, and webinar platforms. Providers process data under contractual instructions and may not use it for their own marketing unrelated to our services. If data is transferred outside Korea, we implement safeguards consistent with applicable law, such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions where recognized. We may disclose data when required by lawful requests from public authorities, or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of learners and staff, subject to due process constraints.
